WhatsApp New Update: A texting app owned by Meta WhatsApp is always trying to improve the user experience by releasing new features and upgrades to current ones.
WhatsApp has made several modifications to the in-app contact list in recent upgrades, according to WABetainfo.

These choices on WhatsApp are “Frequently contacted” persons and “recent chats,” making it easy to locate your favorite contacts.

In addition, WhatsApp was seen testing the global audio player for the desktop version of the app. WhatsApp is releasing a new feature that allows users to listen to voice notes while switching between chats.
Previously, the feature was tested on the iOS beta app. WhatsApp, on the other hand, was recently discovered testing the functionality on the desktop version of the program.
Users would be able to listen to voice notes or audio files even if they switched to a different conversation. When you depart one conversation and go to another, the voice note now stops playing.
WhatsApp, on the other hand, does not cease playing the voice note as a result of the new functionality, and a new audio player bar appears at the bottom of your chat list. The replay button on the bottom bar allows you to control the voice note, and the progress bar indication lets us know when the voice note is finished.
