WhatsApp introduces a new feature: According to WABetainfo, the Meta-owned instant messaging software WhatsApp is rolling out a new upgrade through the Google Play Beta Program, including additional options for choosing phone numbers in chat bubbles.
According to the WhatsApp news tracker, the platform is currently deploying a new feature that allows you to choose phone numbers in chat bubbles using shortcuts.
“In earlier upgrades, interacting with a phone number in a chat bubble will direct you to your default dialer app.
With the latest update, however, when a user taps a phone number in the chat bubble, a new menu appears.
“In this situation, WhatsApp will see if the phone number is available on WhatsApp and if the contact has a WhatsApp account,” according to WABetainfo.
