The WhatsApp edit recipients feature will make it easy to send photographs and videos to certain recipients for a specific reason.
WhatsApp is apparently testing a feature that allows users to pick recipients before transmitting a photo or video. WhatsApp intends to update the interface that displays who users are transferring material too.
In one of their blogs, WABetaInfo said the same thing.
They added that in a future version, the app would be redesigned to allow users to select additional recipients before transmitting material.
Furthermore, even if users are sharing an image, video, or GIF to a WhatsApp chat, the instant messaging platform will include a function where users will be able to post media to their status update.

According to rumors, the update is being tested on both Android and iOS devices. However, it appears that there is no set schedule for the same.
Users will be able to share media in their status updates while sending them to WhatsApp Chat thanks to a new upgrade.
While selecting the receiver for sharing any material, users will have this option to share the media in their status update (image or video).
Users will be able to easily share the material in the Status when sending it to a group of contacts. Users may, however, opt-out of sharing material in status updates if they don’t want to.
WABetaInfo even has an image from the Android beta version of the update, indicating that the functionality is in the works for the Android platform and that the same upgrade would be included in a future beta version of WhatsApp for iOS.
