WhatsApp Avatar Feature: Following the release of the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.23.9 update, which includes details on the potential to automatically silence bigger group chats in the future, WhatsApp is also releasing avatars, a new method to represent yourself on WhatsApp, to a select set of beta testers.
You may customize your identity with avatars by creating a digital expression in WhatsApp Settings. Some fortunate beta testers may now create an avatar using WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.22.23.9!
How To Set Up WhatsApp Avatar Feature
After setting an avatar, WhatsApp will immediately create a new sticker pack so you may share stickers with your loved ones, as seen in the picture below. You may also select an avatar to use as your WhatsApp profile picture.
Open WhatsApp Settings if you want to check if the feature is accessible for your account. If you find a new section here named “Avatar,” it means you may immediately start generating an avatar right now.
Since this function has just recently been made available to select users, you could run into a few minor difficulties when setting an avatar. If this happens, try again until you’ve chosen the avatar’s ideal appearance.
Some lucky beta testers have received the option to create an avatar after updating WhatsApp beta for Android from the Play Store. As always, don’t panic if you don’t have this capability; more users will be able to set an avatar over the next several weeks, so keep your WhatsApp version updated in the meanwhile.
