Jules Kounde, who has been linked with a transfer to Chelsea, has been spotted in London ahead of the club’s takeover. The Sevilla defender is expected to join the Blues this summer.
The 23-year-old has been linked with a long-term transfer to Chelsea and may finally get his dream.
As seen in a picture released by cfcnewspage, Kounde has been spotted in London ahead of the Chelsea takeover.
The Blues are unable to participate in transfer discussions at the moment, but with Todd Boehly’s group due to being identified as Chelsea’s new owners this week, Kounde’s contract might be finalized sooner rather than later.
According to recent sources, Chelsea is expected to finalize Kounde’s transfer if Boehly completes his purchase of the club.
Tuchel said in September that the club just didn’t have enough time to talk with Kounde before the season started since he is still a primary target.
“It was clear we tried for Kounde and Saul and it was very, very late but it was a very, very smooth transfer window because I had a full concentration on training and on my team.
And now that Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have left the club, Kounde might be on his way to Chelsae after being spotted in London earlier this week.
Thomas Tuchel, who is looking to rebuild his team as swiftly as possible this summer, will no doubt be impressed by a quick transaction.

“We are now at a significant disadvantage, but it is not yet definitive.” There are no excuses anymore; it is just the scenario we are in, and we must act as quickly as possible. It’s frustrating right now because our hands are tied and we can’t do what we want,” he added of transfer plans.
This follows the German’s statement that he will postpone his vacation in order to begin working on incoming transfers this summer.
