WAEC Releases 2022 WASSCE Pending Results
According to reports, the entire results for the 2022 WASSCE have been announced. This signifies that any pending results have been made public.
The reason for the postponement of results is to allow WAEC to perform certain investigations into some queries resulting from one or more of the following errors:
- Incorrect assignment of examination numbers in one or more papers.
- In addition, the failure to shade the examination numbers. After finishing the paper, several pupils forgot to darken the examination numbers.
Date for WAEC Will Release withheld Results
The inquiry procedure, according to WAEC, would not take more than 31 days, although it may take longer in some circumstances because the West African Examinations Council has not fixed a deadline for the distribution of the WASSCE results.
What does it mean when your WAEC result is withheld?
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has restated that all withheld results in its examinations were a result of alleged malpractices.
“When your results are still withheld after an abnormal period of time you may be called to the WAEC office in your region or at the WAEC-Ghana headquarters in Accra to make a statement concerning the exams malpractice,” he said.
According to WAEC Staff, some withheld results of candidates are released one week after the conclusion of the investigation adding that “but in some cases, it takes a longer period of time depending on how serious the malpractice is.”
Meanwhile, the non-profit organization has said that, due to a decision from the Ghana Education Service, 8,486 students who took the Ghana version of WASSCE would be unable to get their 2022 WASSCE results online.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) management stated in a statement released with wilsontrendit.com that such applicants failed to return learning assistance materials provided to them and/or harmed school property.
