Update on Employment of Nurses And Midwives: Employment of Nurses and Midwives- 2019 NAC/NAP and 2019 Diploma and Degree Referral Batches
Update on Employment of Nurses And Midwives-GRNMA: According to the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), they had a meeting with the Ministry of Health on Friday, 27th January 2023.
Both parties agreed that the ministry will employ the following qualified nurses amidst the freeze on the employment of civil servants.
NAC//NAP 2019 batch who assessed the MoH recruitment portal in November 2021 is expected to start work latest by March 2023. The various agencies, that is GHS, and Teaching Hospitals will contact all the applicants between now and March.
The GRNMA also announced that the 2019 diploma and degree referral batch are also expected to start work by March 2023 and all relevant information will be relayed to the various groups in due time.
The leadership of GRNMA wishes to use this opportunity to caution all nurses and midwives not to pay any amount of money to anyone or any entity concerning their postings.
Update on Employment of Nurses and Midwives
According to the association, they are fully committed and determined to ensure that all nurses and midwives who have completed their respective course of studies and are duly licensed to practice gain employment within the MoH and its agencies.
