University of Ghana Campuses and Location
Around 13 kilometers to the northeast of Ghana’s capital, Accra, is where you’ll find the Legon Campus. The majority of the university’s teaching and research activities take place here. The central office of the University of Ghana is also located on the Legon Campus. On the Legon Campus, there are a number of student housing facilities.
Do you know where the Legon City Campus is? It is located in the center of Accra’s CBD. The Legon City Campus, which is situated across the street from the Ministry of Information, is really in Adabraka. The Accra Polytechnic campus and the Tigo Head Office are both accessible on foot. The Humanities and Education College serves as the home of the Legon City Campus. The University of Ghana built the campus as an external degree wing between 1963 and 1964. There are 7,300 students enrolled at the Legon City Campus, including local and distant learners throughout the West African area.
Korle-Bu Campus
The Korle-Bu Campus, headed by a Provost, houses the administration of the College of Health Sciences. Some of the constituent schools are also located on the Korle-Bu Campus; the School of Medicine and Dentistry and the School of Allied Health Sciences.
Accra City Campus
This campus in Accra, Ghana, is perfectly situated in the center of the city, directly across from the Ministry of Information in Adabraka.
Distance Education Campuses You Must Know
The university offers a variety of programs, including degree courses, at its distance learning sites in the various areas. Residential facilities at Awudome College allow for the delivery of short courses at weekends and other times.
