ACHIEVEMENTS
Achievements of The Rudolph Sunnydays Lead Administration As Hostel President for Defiat Hostel.
- Fenced Defiat hostel with barb wires to improve upon security in the hostel.
- Purchased of 5 deep freezers, one for each floor in the hostel for food preservation
- Provided a landline telephone for the hostel to serve as an emergency helpline.
- improved sanitation by providing additional zoomlion dustbins.
- Resolved water crisis in the hostel by advocating for the drilling of new borehole
- Renovated the reservoir behind the hostel.
- Provided two new water pumps to compliment the old.
- Provided an automatic pumps switch which automatically regulates the pumping of water into the rooms, bathrooms and kitchen.
- Bought 6 lovers benches for the hostel.
- Provision of first aid box.
- The only administration in UHAS to observe a hall week celebration in 2019.
- Advocated for the reshaping of the deplorable road leading to Defiat Hall.
- Improve security by providing street lights from ‘Nogora’ junction to the Hostel.
- Advocated for the monthly distribution of toiletries for members in the hostel.
- Purchased materials used for indoor games and outdoor games (i.e. gamepads, ludu, oware, Checker boards, draft boards, football, volleyball, spa cards e.t.c)
- Provided 4 white boards for group studies, one for each study room.
- Provided additional drying lines for the hostel.
- Introduced the free light bulb initiative.
- Formed the Defiat prayer and worship committee to seek for the spiritual well-being of the students.
- Assist Student Chaplaincy Board (SCB) in mobilizing students for chaplaincy programs.
- Formed the Defiat Welfare Society which supports students during difficult times and in times of grief.

To make and lead the path to a better, brighter bona fide and a more students centered SRC through endless possibilities, by promoting personal and institutional development.
THE BETTER UHAS AGENDA
The better student life agenda is a concept to instigate a more formidable picture for the role UHAS SRC plays in the lives of students. The agenda is in line with the Vision, Mission and Ethos of UHAS and the spirit of UHAS SRC constitution. The agenda is to give vision and focus to the student movements in general with the view of improving the quality of life through trusted student centered leadership, innovation, progress and serving as a mouthpiece of the student populace everywhere anytime.
We will not hesitate to call our movement an Army, it is a special Army with no supplies but it’s sincerity, no uniform but it’s determination, no arsenal except it’s faith, no currency but it’s conscience. Blind believes in authority is the greatest enemy of truth. Always remember, Leadership that has not been tested cannot be trusted.
To whom much is given, much is expected. But in my case, little was given and expectations were exceeded.
