UHAS launched a registered Students Research Club: The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) has launched a registered Students’ Research Club to inculcate in students the habit of reading and researching. The Club, which is students-centred and driven is expected to help demystify research and make students critical thinkers, according to Club patron, Dr. Dominic Agyei Dankwah.
He said immersing students in research helps sharpen the skills and knowledge of students in scientific investigations, thereby making them independent thinker, and should be encouraged.
To further the vocational training of UHAS students, Dr. Dankwah is also appealing to university management to consider assigning students to health research institutions dotted around the country to allow them have practical understanding of how research projects are initiated, managed and completed.
