A 13-year-old girl talks about her experience storming TV3 for a date rush audition.
On social media, a trending video has gone viral, showing a young girl who claims to be 13 at the Date Rush audition grounds.
Date Rush is a popular television reality show that receives a lot of buzz and positive feedback on social media. Season 6 auditions for the Date Rush reality show are now taking place at TV3’s headquarters in Accra.
In a viral video, a 13-year-old girl was questioned by a blogger and revealed that she went to the audition grounds to pick up a form so she could join the other contestants in their search for love on the show. She was, however, rejected the forms since she is too young to be a part of the reality show.
“When I went there, they didn’t give me the documents to fill out because they stated I was too small to be a part of the show,” she says. I also inquired as to whether or not my small size diminishes my feelings. “Just because I’m small doesn’t mean I don’t have feelings,” she says.
The video, which has been trending on TikTok, is described as a comedic film intended to raise awareness that the reality show was not intended for children, but rather for adults.
