THE BIRD WHO SWAM
They call it protection
I think I disagree
Hold the restrictions
I only want to be me
I don’t know their intentions
I still want to be free
They left me no option
None but to flee
I took the action
And now I am free
Away from their traditions
I am happy and free
Here I am today,
Swimming in freedom’s sea
I no more fly in the sky
I no more live in a tree
I no more have to stay up high
I am happy and free
This freedom is expensive
Never knew it comes with a fee
I can’t fly with my wings wet
It is not the me I wanted to be
I want to do what I want
I want to be free
I now get their protection
This is what they tried to let me to see?
Drowning in this sea’s restriction
I only have one plea
If saving me was their intention
Why not help me be free?
For I’m only a bird drowning in the sea of addiction
Because I thought swimming would make me free.
Good job 👏👍👌🙌
