TEIN UHAS planned a trip to Treasure Island as part of their semester events for students to take some relaxation during a stressful semester at a very affordable rate.
Treasure Island: A private Island resort in a breathtaking natural setting close to the Volta River and Atlantic Ocean estuary. In this essay, we will look at what happened per our information.
WHAT THEY PROMISED STUDENTS
TESCON planned a trip to Keta, which on the other hand didn’t go as planned as speculated, therefore as the banter between TEIN and TESCON, TEIN UHAS promised a far better experience in Ada to ridicule the opposition. In addition to the cinema experience, course dinner per person, horseback ride, beach soccer, refreshments, voyage on the estuary, and free photography, the trip’s organizers also promised these things.
WHAT HAPPENED?
According to a source, the bus that is supposed to transport the HO students to Ada was not fully paid, but the drivers were given the assurance that they would get full payment after the trip, which was the basis for the initial arrangement.
On the way to Ada, three of the buses carrying Ho students stopped and demanded the remaining amount before continuing. Removing funds from the budget allotted for the Treasure Island experience has caused the planning to become disorganized.
However, the organizers should have explained the current circumstances and the best course of action to the students since, according to an insider who spoke to our source, they would have paid an additional fee (between 10 and 30 cedis) to go to the place. The cost of the tour was (45 cedis for members with TEIN Card and 65 cedis for members without it)
The trip’s organizers sent travelers to Sogakope Beach rather than Treasure island hence the rage on the bus.
The Hohoe students on the other two buses were sent to the site, but they were not let inside since the management of the island and Hohoe leaders had not reached an agreement. And also, the Hohoe students were not served food nor drink, or neither water as promised.
Students (Hohoe) went on a lake boat and were taken to the crocodile farm and the area off the coast of treasure island.

Okay so this is how it goes. The trip was supposed to be from Ho to treasure island at ada… Buh we don’t know what happened… When we were going the bus turned when we got to sogakope thinking we’re taking a short route not knowing thay was the end of the journey… As it stands now they are at a hotel and the guys are swimming, others are bored and roaming around.
