SSNIT offices have been operating around the nation since yesterday to assist anyone who wants to connect their SSNIT and NIA (Ghana Card) numbers.
The SSNIT offices will remain open until 4:30 p.m. on December 31, 2021, the last day of the year.
If you don’t want to come into the office, there are a variety of alternative ways to hook up, even if you’re not in Ghana.

By visiting any SSNIT office in your area.
*711*9# is a shortcode that you can use.
through the use of the SSNIT website.
On your phone, merge your SSNIT and Ghana Card.
On your cell phone, dial *711*9#.
Option 1 should be chosen.
Fill in your SSNIT number.
Please provide your email address (if the phone number you are using is different from your phone number registered in our database)
Fill in your Personal Identification Number (PIN) from your driver’s license.

To complete the merger of your SSNIT and NIA numbers, choose option 1. (Personal ID Number on your Ghana Card)
Wait for the message of confirmation.
Merge your SSNIT and NIA (Ghana Card) Number online
Follow these steps to merge your SSNIT and NIA Number very fast:
Visit the official SSNIT Members Website https://www.ssnit.org.gh/member/
Log in with your current SSNIT number and Password
Request for a new Password here if you don’t have one and use it to log in
At the top bar, click on the “Merge My NIA” button
Read the terms and conditions and check the box to continue
Enter your NIA Number to continue
Confirm your email and phone number
Click submit to successfully link your SSNIT Number and NIA Number.
Go to an SSNIT office in your area.
This strategy is excellent for individuals who were unable to combine using the first two ways.
You may use Google Maps to find an SSNIT office near you and then go there to complete the merger.
Please keep in mind that in order to complete this procedure effectively, you will need to bring your Ghana Card.
The procedure itself takes less than 5 minutes, although you may encounter a queue or network troubles.
Simply wait for the SSNIT staff to assist you in merging your SSNIT and Ghana card numbers.
