Roman Abramovich Ready to Buy Another European Club: Headlines

Roman Abramovich’s passion for football appears to be unquenchable, as the Russian billionaire is already planning to purchase a second football club in Europe. The 55-year-old has lost control of Chelsea as a result of the UK government’s harsh sanctions, which have frozen all of his assets.
According to Sport Bible, Abramovich has begun discussions to purchase Goztepe, a Turkish Super Lig team, in order to return to football club ownership. Göztepe, currently 18th in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Following his acquisition of Chelsea in 2003, Abramovich might be returning to the club he established in 1925.
The Blues have become a European heavyweight under the Russian’s rule at Stamford Bridge, winning various titles including the Champions League and Club World Cup.

Meanwhile, the sale of Chelsea FC has taken a fresh turn as Roman Abramovich published a list of conditions that the new owners must satisfy before taking over the London club.
Abramovich wants the new owners to have an “established track record, a vision for the club, and easy access to finances,” according to Football365.
The Raine Group set a deadline of last Friday, March 25 for any interested parties to submit official offers to acquire Chelsea from the Russian oligarch.
