West Ham Are Planning Replacements For Declan Rice: According to the Telegraph, Arsenal are getting closer to completing their mega-money transfer for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice, with the Hammers aiming to replace their captain with three players.
The Gunners are preparing a club record £92 million bid for the England international, who is their top summer transfer target. Bayern Munich and Manchester United are also interested in signing Rice, but Arsenal are thought to be in prime position to secure the highly coveted 24-year-old.
Arsenal are eager to complete the trade in time for pre-season, which might pave the way for Granit Xhaka to complete his expected £13 million move to Bayer Leverkusen.
West Ham have accepted that Rice will leave the club this summer, with club chairman David Sullivan revealing that the midfielder is keen to leave East London.
Rice played his final game for the Hammers after leading the team to a historic Europa Conference League victory over Serie A side Fiorentina in Prague.

Negotiations for a move to Arsenal are nearing completion, and West Ham intends to spend the Rice windfall on three new players, including Harvey Barnes, James Ward-Prowse, and Edson Alvarez.
Despite opposition from Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa, the Hammers are in prime position to acquire Barnes from Leicester City.
The demoted Foxes will demand about £40 million for their top scorer, who netted 13 goals in 34 Premier League appearances this season.
Ward-Prowse is also expected to leave relegated Southampton this summer, but the Saints are anticipated to seek a large compensation for their captain, whose contract runs until 2026.
West Ham will also face competition from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund for Ajax’s Alvarez, who was on the verge of joining Chelsea last summer.
