Professor Ransford Gyampo of the University of Ghana has been elected President of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG), which represents academic staff at the University of Ghana.
In his new role, Prof will advocate for the rights and interests of university teachers, as well as promote the quality of higher education in Ghana.
He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, having previously served as a member of UTAG’s executive committee.
