Premier League fixtures: The Premier League schedule for the 2022/23 season will be released soon.
Manchester City will find out how they will start defending the championship they won so spectacularly last month. Ilkay Gundogan was their hero on the last day, scoring twice in a late blitz against Aston Villa.
Liverpool’s chances of achieving a record quadruple were dashed by that outcome, with Jurgen Klopp’s side now confident of going one better this time.

Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly will seek to get off to a good start after finally buying the club from Roman Abramovich last season, while Tottenham Hotspur is back in the Champions League under Antonio Conte and will hope to continue their upward trajectory following a solid conclusion to the year.
