Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby featured in the music video for “Do We Have a Problem?”
Nicki Minaj has released a new song called “Do We Have a Problem?” with Lil Baby.
During a recent Instagram Live session, Nicki expressed her admiration for Baby’s performance on the single, praising the Atlanta native.
“First of all, I want to just say shout out to Lil Baby,” Nicki said. “Y’all know I always keep it real about verses and all of that. Lil Baby, he might have… he might have got me!” She continued, “But listen, the point is: Lil Baby went super-duper hard—pause—and it’s so refreshing to see people still care about that type of stuff. I still care about it.”
Nicki continued, “I don’t think people didn’t know Lil Baby was nice, but I will say that he pleasantly surprises me all the time. This particular record was just another moment when you could just tell the difference when somebody knows they’re here for a long time.”
Nicki went on to add that his verse was “bodied” by Baby. “I salute him for simply being cool, down-to-earth, and kind. “Everything.”
Nicki claimed her new album is on the way in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1’s New Music Daily.
“Obviously, the record is coming shortly,” she remarked. “That’s why I started making music in the first place.” As I previously stated, every Friday will now be known as Pink Friday. I have a lot of surprises planned for the fans in the months leading up to the release of the album, but we want to get it out there as soon as possible. That is something I will say. I’d want to give them a taste of some more songs before the album is out, but we believe it’s time.”
