MTN Ghana to reward customers with cars, cash, airtime to mark 25th anniversary
In a massive 25th anniversary campaign, MTN Ghana is giving away 25 Hyundai Sonata saloon vehicles to clients who have been faithful to the brand.
The MTN@25 Mega Promo, which runs from August to October 2021, will award 24,000 consumers with a variety of goodies, including 25 brand new Hyundai Sonatas, model 2021, cash awards, and plenty of airtime.
Customers will be assigned monthly point objectives to fulfill as part of a points-based campaign.
The promotion is intended to reward all prepaid and qualified postpaid users (old and new) depending on their use of MTN goods and services.

“To take part in the promotion, users must phone *156# and choose option 5 to opt-in. Promo points are earned based on how much you spend and how much you use. One point will be awarded for every pesewa spent on voice or SMS. Three points will be awarded for every pesewa spent on data.”
“For every pesewa spent on MTN digital platforms (such as My MTN, Ayoba, Pulse, and MoMo Apps), 10 points will be awarded. A pesewa spent on subscriptions for all other activities will get 3 points.”
Customers that achieve the greatest percentage margin (by ranking) over their monthly target points will be awarded.
In the MTN@25 Mega Consumer Promotion, over 24,000 consumers will be awarded with cash prizes up to GH5,000 and a lot of free airtime.
“The Mega Promo strengthens our commitment to ensure that, beyond the functional advantages gained from purchasing our goods and services, clients have a great opportunity of fulfilling their treasured goals with life-changing rewards,” said Noel Kojo-Ganson, MTN Ghana’s Chief Marketing Officer.
According to him, the promotion is meant to ensure that at least one client from each of the 16 areas receives a brand-new Hyundai Sonata in order to ensure a fair distribution of the prizes at stake.
Mr Kojo-Ganson went on to say that the other nine automobiles will be distributed simply based on the percentage margin by which participants surpass their target-points, with no reference to regions — the MTN Ghana website includes a list of monthly regional allocations.
“We do not want all winners coming from just a few regions. I am urging all our Customers to register to participate in this promotion, talk more, browse more, do more on MTN digital platforms as well as more financial transactions with MoMo to win big in the MTN @ 25 mega promotion,” he said.
MTN has retained the services of KPMG as external auditors to assist in verifying winners of the campaign each month, in order to maintain openness in the selection of winners.
Each month’s winners will be announced at the end of the month.

MTN campaign winners are not notified through links or promo codes. Customers will not be asked for money or airtime before receiving their rewards from MTN.
