Influencers on social media are those who have built a reputation for their expertise and experience in a certain field.
They build massive followings of passionate, engaged people who pay close attention to their views by posting regular updates on their favorite social media networks regarding that problem.
In Ghana, most social media influencers are centered on promoting products and services and also helping the upcoming users.
Meet Richard Osei Agyemang popularly known as ‘Dr. Winter’ or Winter is coming. His username is I_am_winter
He is one of the biggest influencers on GH Twitter with millions of tweet impressions each month.
He is currently having over 138k followers at the time my team reached out to interview him.
He said, I normally use the phrase ‘are you wise? or ‘Winter is coming’ which people know me by.
Family
According to Dr. Winter, He is living with his parents at Kasoa and he is the firstborn out of three children.
His siblings go by the name Claudia Agyemang (lastborn) and Raymond Agyemang (secondborn)
Education
He is currently reading his Masters degree in Finance at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and also reading an online masters program at the University of Glasgow in Structural engineering, Scotland
He read his bachelor’s degree in Geomatic engineering at KNUST and graduated in 2019.
He is also a past student of Opoku Ware Senior High, Kumasi. He read General Science.

Inspiration

Last year, He was awarded by Ghantwitterawards for being the best reporter on the timeline, and this year, he was nominated for influencer of the year category and content creator of the year category.

Why the Afro?
He told us that, he got the inspiration from his dad and he feel in love with it.
