The weekend hasn’t been dull at all as Binlinla Timothy, a third-year medical student of the University of Health and Allied Sciences popularly known as Thimmy shook the University community with his first single track titled LONELY STRANGERS.
Why Music? Lonely Strangers by Thimmy
When he was asked why lonely strangers, he said ‘Two strangers brought together by a seemingly similar situation. They both had a bitter past and had both wandered in vain. Until they met and got close, but one wanted them to be more than strangers who had become friends.
Scared the friendship would break down the guy took his chances, poured his heart out and the two lonely strangers fell in love”.He also stated that the reaction was massive and all platforms were buzzing.
Other things you dont know about Thimmy
In a close conversation, he further revealed that “I am a poet who noticed how real songs from people like Passenger and Lukas Graham are. Originally, I love music and use my spare time trying to make some ever since I started playing basic instruments like the drum and keyboard. But I realized I could do more. I could inspire. So my music career is just a journey to incorporating poetry into music and speaking to the heart.
I’m into ballads, pop, RnB, hip hop mostly. And it hasn’t been easy, because my studio is my phone. But I’m really hoping to maintain this as a side job and inspire more and long as I’m recognized enough, I believe I can be one of the best and a career is definitely possible”.
In conclusion, he stated that combining school and music hasn’t been easy but determination and his interest are what are keeping him going.
