WhatsApp began testing the ability to listen to audio messages while in another chat around a month ago. All users will soon have access to an updated version of this function.
The app’s version 22.4.75 allows users to listen to voice messages and audio files outside of conversations. You may then go to another conversation, react to a buddy, or even send a load of stickers to the family group while listening to an audio message.
This functionality arrives only a few weeks after WhatsApp revealed a slew of new features. The option to pause and continue recording a voice message is one of them. Users may also listen to a message before sending it, which is a significant enhancement for the app.

Thanks to iOS 15, version 22.2.75 also included a new tweak. When a user receives a WhatsApp notification, the app now shows the profile photo of the person who gave them the message on the iPhone’s Lock Screen, similar to how Twitter and Slack do.
Last but not least, in this version, appropriate support for Focus mode was implemented, which means that chosen users may still contact you even if you are in Focus mode.
If you want to check out all of these capabilities, make sure you have WhatsApp’s most recent version downloaded from the App Store. If any of these features aren’t accessible now, don’t panic; WhatsApp will gradually roll them out to all users.
