On Saturday, February 12, the rapper Kodak Black was injured in a gunshot outside a nightclub on La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles early in the morning.
Kodak Black, 24, and two other victims, ages 19 and 60, were rushed to a medical center and treated for gunshot wounds, according to NBC News.
The Los Angeles Police Department, for its part, issued a statement that stated in part, “Preliminary investigation indicated that numerous persons were involved in a violent confrontation at the site.” An unidentified suspect fired the bullets before fleeing south of the scene.
The incident occurred an hour after The Nice Guy finished hosting an exclusive party for Justin Bieber’s Super Bowl LVI performance at the Pacific Design Center.
All of the victims are now in stable condition, and the investigation is still ongoing.
