Flying cars are soon becoming the next big thing for companies looking for new market niches.
There are plans for flying automobiles that can also drive on the road, as well as flying taxis that will serve as the foundation for future travel.
One of these businesses is Jetson.
According to the company’s website, its goal is to “make the sky available to everyone with our safe personal electric aerial vehicle.”
Jetson One, the company’s first flying car, is already available for purchase.
The eight electric motors that generate 102 horsepower allow Jetson One to reach a top speed of 63 mph.
The automobile has a 20-minute continuous running time.The car can take off vertically and stay airborne, albeit the company does not identify the vehicle’s maximum height.
A three-axis joystick is used to drive the vehicle, while a throttle lever is used to modify power.
When it comes to safety, no money has been spared.
The vehicle’s chassis was designed using the same technologies as race cars.
The business also stated that even if one of its engines fails, it will be able to fly.
A parachute with a quick deployment system, a LiDAR sensor capable of tracking the ground to avoid obstructions, and an emergency function that takes control of the aircraft are all included.
It’s already sold out for 2022, but there will be more deliveries in 2023, according to Jetson.
