NASA launch the world most powerful telescope called JAMES WEBB SPACE TELESCOPE
NASA has a new satellite telescope in orbit.
The telescope’s name is James Webb, named after an architect of the Apollo moon landings.
This telescope will orbit 1.5 kilometers away from earth.
The James Webb telescope is to replace the Hubble telescope.
This collaboration between the US, European and Canadian space agencies cost $10 billion.
It was launched using an Ariane 5 rocket on Friday (Dec. 25), at 7:20 a.m. EST (1220 GMT) 9:20 a.m. local time in Kourou from Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana), South America.
JAMES WEBB SPACE TELESCOPE
The telescope is more potent than the Hubble telescope.
The telescope is an improved version of the Hubble and spitzer telescope. It will study our cosmic history and view distant stars from our solar system with greater sensitivity and resolution.
Scientists worldwide are anxious to see the first images of the telescope, especially astronomers.
The James Webb telescope has gone a long from 30 years ago, which was an idea to reality.
A lot has gone into the development of the telescope. Discoveries and technological advances have brought robust characteristics to its cameras and optical devices.
Just like the scientist, we are anxious to see the first images of the James Webb telescope as it peers into the universe’s past.
The telescope will undergo six months of adjustment and positioning to allow a fully functional telescope.
