Ghanaian Students Complain About Food Shortages And Safety.
Due to uncertainty of what will happen in the region, Ghanaian students in Ukraine are in desperate need of food and a safe place to hide. This is the situation, according to one of them, Joseph.
After disputing with other customers about limited stock due to a claimed food shortage caused by the Russian invasion, the medical student said on Thursday’s Super Morning Show that he had to make do with what he could acquire from a shop.
“Right now, I have two bottles of water and four crackers that I picked up this morning.”
“The shop was rather crowded when I arrived, and there were just a few bottles of water.” He explained
“I meant to buy bread, but they [customers] had already purchased all of the bread from the shop.”
In response to Russia’s present assault on Ukraine, he offered these words.
We are to all pray for the safety of all Ghanaians who are currently based in Ukraine. We hope that they will be safe and sound and if possible brought back home for some time until tensions in the region drop.
Thanks.
