Declaration of Election Results: On March 15, 2023, at the Trafalgar Campus, TESCON, one of the main political associations on the UHAS Campus, conducted an election to nominate their new leaders.
In contrast to the previous year, when two candidates were actively disputed, the election was washed for a candidate to represent the organization and the other candidate went uncontested the following year due to unforeseen circumstances. Stepping up to the plate is Romeo Owusu Osei.
Despite the lack of competition for some of the portfolios, the election was significant for the school community, since it signified the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the association.
The former president of the association, Mr. Levels, was very instrumental during his tenure of office as the president. Kudos to him for a free and fair election.
In this blog post, we’ll take a closer look at the background of the election, most importantly, the results after the vote casting, the platform he ran on, and what his election means for the future of the school association.
Declaration of election results
On March 16, 2023, the EC chairperson, Asare Elijah, declared the election winners. He stated.

With a grateful heart I write to you all to express my appreciation for all your support and most importantly your votes in the just ended TESCON elections. Right from the first step of this journey, you have demonstrated great love and commitment and I must say on record that I do not take any of these sacrifices lightly.
I am ROMEO OSEI OWUSU, I am a certitude soldier of FAITH, I am grateful and a true beneficiary of your benevolence. May the FAITH that brought us victory be our key motivator in our tenure of office. I officially have the charge now and I promise to keep it. Akpe kakaaaaa!
Kpamba John’s Thank You Message
I want to use this medium to express my profound gratitude to you all for the love and faith you have in me and per the provisional results declared by the electoral commissioner you have proven it by giving me a whopping 136 votes out of 138 representing 98.5% of the total votes cast.
I am very glad to announce to you that this is my highest winning percentage in life so far and I want to promise you all that I will offer you my best service so far in life so far. You have indeed shown that you want #PROGRESSIVE, #TRANSPARENT, # PEOPLE CENTERED & BREAK THE 8 LEADERSHIP and I am promising you all that I will give out all my best to do that for you for your good and that of the elephant fraternity as a whole.
