Chelsea makes a $80 million deal to Juventus: According to sources who spoke to ESPN, Chelsea has made Dusan Vlahovic their top priority for the summer and has made him an offer of €80 million.
With three years remaining on his deal, Vlahovic, 23, moved from Fiorentina to Turin in January 2022 for a cost of €81.6 million.
For the Bianconeri, he has scored 23 goals in 62 matches in all competitions, although he has struggled to establish himself because of coach Massimiliano Allegri’s defensive style and the club’s uncertainty regarding Champions League status for the upcoming season.
Last month, Juventus had a 15-point penalty suspended, moving them up to third place in Serie A and putting them in the running for a Champions League spot.
Juventus received their points back while the issue is currently being sent back to the soccer federation’s appeals court. The penalty was imposed for incorrect accounting in January.
Given that Vlahovic is dissatisfied at Juventus, Chelsea has spotted an opportunity to entice a player they were interested in when he played for Fiorentina, while Juventus is considering a deal for the Serbian international.
Mauricio Pochettino, who will take over as manager of Chelsea, has been informed that a good No. 9 will be acquired this summer.
Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are also interested in signing Vlahovic, who is eager to come to Stamford Bridge.
