Check Your NSS Posting: The Management of the National Service Scheme has announced the postings of a total of ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY (115,240) prospective national service personnel who enlisted to complete their required national service for the 2022–2023 service year.
The potential service personnel includes qualified Ghanaian graduates from recognized higher institutions from the year 2022, defaulters who applied for postings, and private registrants.
Only beginning on Monday, October 17, 2022, can service personnel print appointment letters and endorse them on behalf of the appropriate user agencies. To accommodate potential service members who have not yet finished their academic programs, validation and registration will, however, start on Monday, October 24, 2022, and go until FRIDAY, December 30, 2022, at all regional centers around the nation.
When will National Service begin this year?
The Management additionally instructs all prospective service personnel to begin their national service on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, when they have been officially posted, approved by their user agencies, and verified by the NSS.
All deployed members of the national service are thus requested to accept their postings as part of their civic duties and contributions to the advancement of the country.
How to Check Your NSS Posting

- Go to the NSS Posting Portal via https://portal.nss.gov.gh/check-posting
- Enter your NSS Number (e.g. NSSGCCXXXXXXXXX) in the required box
- Finally, Click on the Submit button and wait for the pop-up window to open with your Posting Information.
