Chairman Wontumi wants to buy club Chelsea: Bernard Antwi Boasiako, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), often known as ‘Chairman Wontumi,’ has announced his ambition to purchase Premier League team, Chelsea.
The club’s owner, Roman Abramovich, has announced his plan to sell it for £3 billion.
Several billionaires have expressed interest in purchasing the club from its Russian owner.
Mr. Boasiako, however, stated on Kumasi-based Wontumi FM that he is willing to acquire the two-time Champions League champions from Abramovich.
