Can you react to a WhatsApp Message? WhatsApp has recently published a new beta version of the app for Android, which, as is frequently the case with test versions, serves as a valuable glimpse of what’s to come.
Version 2.22.6.6, in particular, gives another hint concerning the integration of responses to messages, a feature that has been in development for some time but is not yet ready.
According to WABetaInfo teammates, the animation that follows sending the reply to the message has been discovered in the current version of the program.
Nothing new, just a reaffirmation of the continuous process. The animation shows in the message’s lower right corner, highlighting the insertion of the reaction.
It should be noted that the response feature cannot yet be engaged, even when using the most recent Android beta version; there is also a lack of an exact timeline for inclusion in the stable version (Android and iOS), which appeared to be near on multiple occasions.
The reality is that WhatsApp is rapidly losing popularity to rival social media platforms that already allow users to respond to messages.
For a long time, there has been a lot of buzz about WhatsApp being able to answer messages using emojis.
However, developers were unable to determine how they would appear. It appears that the problem has been rectified. The screenshots from the beta build to demonstrate the feature in its final form.
At the present, there are six emoticons available, but with the release of the stable version, we may see more.
