According to the Ghana Police Service, Shatta Wale, a well-known Ghanaian dancehall artist, has been detained.
This comes following rumors on social media that the dancehall king had been shot by unidentified assailants in East Legon. Shatta Wale was brought to a private hospital battling for his life, according to claims from his PR, Nana Dope, who is presently in police custody.
What appeared to be a serious problem that rocked the whole digital realm turned out to be a hoax conducted by the dancehall artist and some of his team members.
According to a statement published by Shatta Wale, he staged the incident after a minister of God foretold that he would be shot on October 18th, the faithful day.
Well, after the arrest of the man of God who made the doom prophecy, Shatta Wale, his PR, Nana Dope, and another member of his team have been arrested by the police.
