Ben Chilwell ramped up his comeback from a long-term injury by participating in Chelsea team training this morning, which was a pleasing sight at Cobham.
The England international has not featured for Thomas Tuchel’s side since suffering a knee injury in November’s Champions League triumph against Juventus at Stamford Bridge.
It came at a bad moment for Chilwell, who had started the season well, scoring in three straight games in October.
The left-winger has been practicing with Chelsea’s minor teams for the past few weeks and has now returned to senior workouts.
Ben Chilwell returns to Chelsea training
After Arsenal’s defeat against Newcastle United, the Blues have two Premier League games remaining at home against Leicester City and Watford, with Champions League status already certain.
Chilwell was joined by teammates Christian Pulisic, Jorginho, Marcos Alonso, and Hakim Ziyech, as well as Reece James, Mason Mount, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, as well as his fellow countrymen.
