Bawumia to launch Ghana.gov today
The government’s effort to make the country less reliant on cash, or at least a small amount of cash, for all financial transactions and services is taking shape.
This is because Ghana.gov, the government’s single digital payment platform, is now fully operational.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President, is set to unveil the Ghana.gov platform today.
The general public would be able to apply for and pay for all government services online, using a debit or credit card or Mobile Money.
Over the last few weeks, test runs on the platform have been completed in preparation for today’s launch.
