With this in mind, a developer has designed an app called Audio Trimmer, which allows users to trim any audio clip on an iPhone or iPad.

While this may appear to be a simple function, Apple’s mobile operating system lacks it – with the exception of the Voice Memos app, which only allows you to edit audios recorded using the app.

Users can select a file from their local computer, iCloud Drive, or any cloud service that is compatible. To modify the file, simply tap it.
The editing interface is reminiscent of Apple’s Voice Memos app, with the pinch-to-zoom feature allowing for more exact selection.
The program allows you to preview the complete audio file or only the section you wish to cut off. When you’re finished, simply hit the Trim button to save a new file depending on your pick.
Audio Trimmer is now available for free on the App Store for anyone who wishes to give it a try. However, the developer claims that it will be reimbursed in a few weeks.
