Arsenal record a big win over Chelsea: On Saturday night in Orlando, Florida’s sold-out Camping World Stadium, Arsenal defeated London rivals, Chelsea, in a crushing victory to round up their United States tour.
After some solid work from Granit Xhaka, Gabriel Jesus launched the game with a beautiful dinked goal, and Martin Odegaard increased our lead just before halftime.
Midway through the second half, Bukayo Saka scored the third goal by scoring quickly and from close range, and Sambi Lokonga secured our resounding victory with a cool-headed header at the far post.
Tuchel doesn’t seem to have enjoyed Chelsea’s journey, which has seen them travel across many time zones and sweltering weather.

He doesn’t seem to have been a great admirer of his team’s painstaking efforts, either. Following their dull loss to Charlotte FC in a penalty shootout, the German railed into his team, and he was at it again here, gesturing wildly from the bench.
Fitness may have played a significant impact, and Arsenal was more focused after playing one additional game. But as the season approaches its start, Tuchel will need to find solutions. Given the sum of money Chelsea has spent on strikers, it seems outrageous that they still require one.
What’s next?
The Blues will now head back to London, following the conclusion of our tour of America. Next on the agenda for Tuchel’s side is some work at Cobham, before our final pre-season fixture which takes place in Italy against Udinese. After that, the focus turns quickly to the opening Premier League clash of the season away at Everton.
