A Female Police Officer Crushed To Death At Kasoa. On the Kasoa-Apam highway in the Central Region, a 29-year-old police officer was crushed to death.
At a police checkpoint in the early hours of Tuesday, Comfort Freby was hit by a speeding Toyota with the plate number GS 4746-20.
According to the authorities, the driver failed to stop when he arrived at the checkpoint, and as a result, he collided with the deceased, killing her instantly.
The news has saddened authorities with the Gomoa Dominase District Police Command, who claim that the barrier was only put in place last week following a string of robbery crimes on the highway.
In the line of duty, a police officer was crushed to death.
